Pregnancy & Parenting

I love sharing the special journey of pregnancy & motherhood with you all. After my Partial Molar Pregnancy, so many of you reached out to me with questions of your own, and I realized how many of you have gone through the same thing in silence and without any real information available.

My efforts here are to inform, educate, and help all moms and moms-to-be out there with my well-researched blog posts, must-have lists, printables and planners, and fun baby pictures all around! My background in Special Education and experience as a teacher & coach for over 10 years has brought me a lot of insight into children of all ages. As my family grows, I would love to share my story with you.

Rose’s Rosy 1st Birthday

To think of the fact that my first baby girl is already 1 is crazy to me. Even crazier that our second is on the way! To say that I procrastinated and put off planning Rose’s 1st Birthday is an understatement: I was in denial. I just couldn’t believe a year had come and gone […] Read more…

Holiday Mocktails

Admittedly, I am an avid drinker, which came to an immediate and abrupt halt the moment I found out I was pregnant. I didn’t even get to say goodbye. And right before the Holiday season, too, when imbibing in varieties of libations is at its peak! I love experimenting and trying cocktails of all sorts, […] Read more…

Now that Rose is (almost!) 6 months (where did the time go?) I wanted to share my product experiences with you! There is nothing more exciting than getting ready for your first baby (OK, spending time with your baby is more exciting). Bedtime Routine with Nested Bean

I am learning very quickly that not only do babies constantly change in weight, size, and development, their sleep patterns are in a constant state of evolution in the first few months. At first, Rose was an easy newborn that slept most of the time. This was great since it allowed us to get used […] Read more…

NüRoo Pocket

This weekend I found that my life was completely saved by the NuRoo Pocket. Our A/C was broken for three days, and even though for the rest of the U.S. it is winter and that wouldn’t be much of a problem, it’s still hot here in Miami! It was a stagnant 78 degrees in our […] Read more…

Rose’s Nursery Reveal

I’m so happy to share Rose’s Nursery today! To say it has been in development for a long time would be an understatement. When we moved into our home two years ago I already had a room picked out to be a nursery, and a color palette in mind. Now, two years later, it has […] Read more…
